The GroundScope management team consists of experienced operations and technology specialists from the travel and retail sectors.
Individually and collectively the team has demonstrated delivery of enhanced efficiency and effectiveness for a range of demanding internationally diverse clients.
John a founding Director of GroundScope has a substantial corporate commercial and marketing background gained with leading retailers including Pepsi Co and Marks & Spencer. He was also a founding Director of Active Hotels / Booking.com Europe’s leading online hotel reservations supplier which was acquired by Priceline.com. Previously he was a Director in the 3i backed management buyout of Great Western Trains, where he grew revenue from £250m to £350m before selling the business to First Group Plc. John is a business management and marketing graduate and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Westminster University.
COO and CTO
Emma is a highly experienced Operations Director who has been instrumental in the development and growth of the business. Emma is responsible for all service delivery aspects of the GroundScope offering, from the initial client evaluation through to implementation and the management of over 600 service partners. She also has overall responsibility for ongoing client Account Management and IT. Emma holds a BSc (Hons) degree from Royal Holloway University London as well as an MSc from Guildford Universityand has continued her professional development with a range of external strategic business training courses.
Russell is a commercially orientated Finance Director who is highly integrated into the commercial, IT and operational aspects of the business. Using his wealth of experience in both management accounting and financial control, Russell has set up the financial reporting and payment systems that ensure the highly complex financial nature of our business runs smoothly and effectively. Russell holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Durham University and became fully CIMA qualified in 2005. Russell trained and qualified with global pharma giant Wyeth before moving into the ground transport sector, gaining an intimate working knowledge of the financial systems operating across this and other travel sectors.
Mike McDonald - Operations Manager
Mike is responsible for Managing the Customer Support Team by enforcing operational processes and offering assistance and training where required. Mike has over 7 years experience with GroundScope and offers a wealth of knowledge to the team.
Customer Support Team
Our team of Customer Support Executives are on hand to assist with the making of reservations, resolving service issues or investigating billing queries. The team are available 24-7 by phone or email.
Service Partner Team
Harvey Pasma - Service Partner Executive
Harvey is responsible for managing the GroundScope bookings and closely monitors Service Partners to ensure that they turn up as booked.
Jonathan Dunston - Service Partner Executive
Harvey and Jonathan are responsible for co-ordination of the GroundScope reservations as well as checking for ride share possibilities and ensuring an extra level of care for VIP travellers. The team are also available to Service Partners for any advice or queries and carry out audits to ensure all the drive, fleet, insurance and licensing information held in the system is valid.
Francesca Fernandes – Events Coordinator
Fran is a very highly organised Events Co-ordinator and will ensure our clients always get the best value for their specific event requirements. She understands the uniqueness of each event and is adept at requesting a choice of quotations from the most appropriate Service Partners.
Jack Smith - Operations Executive
Jack is responsible for making sure the day to day GroundScope Operation is running smoothly and is 1st point of contact for any IT or Operational queries from the Customer Support Team. Jack assists with the co-ordination of client profile requirements, validating and uploading new rates, liaising with IT for any requirements and checking and setting up Service Partners passed to him by the Implementations Executive.
Jessica Lobo - Client Support Executive
Jess is responsible for ensuring any customer service issues are responded to and resolved within SLA, and is also 1st point of contact for any service queries from the Customer Support Team. Jess also assists with new client set up and implementation, whilst delivering reporting and responding to VIP queries for exisitng clients.
Laura Reiter - Implementations Executive
Laura is responsible for the on-boarding of Service Partners, gathering and checking the information require by GroundScope to be part of our service.
Pavithra Srinivasareddy – Development Team Leader
Pavithra is responsible for co-ordinating the IT Team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Nathalie is responsible for liaising with prospective clients and TMC’s together with managing all GroundScope’s marketing and social media activity. Nathalie also produces our monthly newsletter - NewsScope
